What is it about out country's Presidents' (past and present - no, G-Dub certainly isn't alone) inability so pronounce the word "nuclear?"
Okay. There was a little "discussion" thing at the blogger main page entitled - "Is the Shroud of Turin the Real Thing or a Hoax?" Well... of course it's real... I mean... it is a shroud, right? It is from Turin, right? Then, the Shroud of Turin is "the Real Thing," then........ oh..... do you mean is it the shroud that covered that Jesus cat? Oh, well, how the heck do I know? I wasn't alive back then. What's to discuss?
"The Jerry Springer Show" was recently voted the "Worst Show Ever on Television..." and here it is in it's 12th year... (incidentally, it's also the highest-rated daytime show ever, too)... Now I hear he's going to come back here to Ohio to run for mayor of Cincinnati (again) or possibly even Governor... I'll admit, he was a great newscaster on WLWT (who also had mayor Charlie Luken and former mayoral candidate Courtis Fuller as newscasters, as well) back in the day, and he actually got some things done as mayor... but paying for a hooker with a check was not his brightest move. I'm pretty glad he can't run for President, though... although him compared to G-dub? hmm... tough call...
I always thought the worst show on television was the show about the little robot girl... :)

Well, Happy New Year and all that good stuff. I hope everyone had a good holiday season... I never realy "look forward" to it anymore, it seems (well shit, I don't get toys anymore, and that sucks), but as soon as it's gone, I miss it. I think it's the kid in me. I always, always had a blast during Christmas as a kid. For as far back as I can remember, it alternated every year between my house and my aunt & uncle's house. There was only me and my brother on my side, but my aunt & uncle had six kids, and by the '80s, a lot of them had kids running around, too. Count all the friends and other cousins and cousin's friends and all that and there was just an absolute shitload of people running around (including the highlight of the festivities, when my dad's mom and dad would show up and be treated like the matriarch and patriarch they were)... and I loved it - and on more than a couple occasions, the big guy himself, one Mr. K. Kringle, would pay a visit to the shindig, and the thousands of us would all crowd together for a picture with Santa... on Christmas...
I miss it all, now... but it was something else to be able to have experienced it in the first place. Here's to next December, when I can think about it all over, again...
